Annually, since our first show in 1971, our goal has been to provide a cost-effective highly visible avenue for our members, and others providing products or services related to the building industry, to showcase their products or services to 9,000 - 10,000 potential customers in two and a half days. It has often been said that "a picture is worth a thousand words". That is why we believe this is the best buy for exhibitors' advertising dollars! Exhibitors have the opportunity to tell attendees about their products or service, while they visit the exhibit area and see it first hand.

This premier trade show is presented March 25 (3 - 9 pm), 26 (10 am - 8 pm) & 27 (12 noon - 5 pm), 2011, for the 41st consecutive year, at the Salem Civic Center in Salem VA. Attendees come from surrounding states, as well as all over the state of Virginia. This is the largest true Home Show in Virginia. THE HOME SHOW deals directly with products and services targeted for the consumer who is planning to build, remodel or enhance their home and/or yard. Exhibitors are restricted to RRHBA members or businesses whose products or services are directly related to the building industry. Our exhibitors include lighting, windows & doors, building hardware, millwork, builders & remodelers, appliances, flooring, swimming pools & spas, cookware, mortgage finance, real estate, cabinetry & countertops, landscaping, brick & block, and much, much more! Our last survey of attendees revealed that

• 88.8% owned their home
• 49.9% planned to remodel their homes in next 12 months
• 25% planned to build a new home in next 12 months
• Remodeling ideas & new construction were main interests in attending THE HOME SHOW
• Average age of 43.9 years and occupation majority was professional, with 2nd being administrative or management.
