We believe that great Architecture is only possible when all technicians work together as a team. This Architect-led process reduces layers of management, finger pointing, and overall cost. Our projects normally cost 20% less than our competion. During construction of each project, our team provides the correct guidance to the large team of skilled technicians. There are typically 400 - 500 technicians who work on each project, and they need guidance from a trained, creative director who has experience and knowledge in all aspects of building/site design and construction means and methods. That project manager for each project is our Architect, who monitors construction details, level of craftmanship and finishes, and compatibility of various building systems. Our project managers can perform structural calculations and change beam sizes during construction, or revise skylight and cornice details based on field conditions. This is the ideal method of construction practice. Architect-led construction was practiced by the Renaissance Master Builders like Michaelangelo and American Architects like Frank LLoyd Wright.

Alam Design Group, LLC

Alam Design Group is a licensed Architectural Firm with certification from the "National Council of Architectural Registration Boards," and member of the American Institute of Architects. Alam Design can provide professional services in all 50 states and internationally. Alam Design Group has experience in Europe, Asia, and the United States. Alam Design has extensive experience in all types of buildings. The types of buildings include schools, city halls, strip malls, shopping centers, restaurants, offices, and retail facilities.

Religious projects include churches, mosques, monasteries, and religious cultural centers. One of the recent projects is a 33,000 s.f. Mosque and Cultural center in Cary, NC. Medical projects include various Animal Hospitals, Dental offices and clinics, and Cardioligy Centers. Recent hospitality and resort projects include Mariners Landing Pointe Project at Smith Mountain Lake, Red Roof Inn, Super 8, and Holiday Inn Express. The custom residential projects include hundreds of homes ranging from 2,500 s.f. homes to 13,000 s.f homes with indoor pools, movie theaters, and basketball courts.

All projects are custom designed for each owner, with special emphasis on design excellence. Each design is tailored to the owners budgets, where highest quality details are developed using local materials and finishes to be cost effective and environmentally friendly.
