The Radford Tradition
In 1947 Frank Radford's father started a construction business. He built, among other projects, one of Roanoke County's first subdivisions, Blue Hills Addition, on land that is now in the city. Frank joined the business after graduation from Virginia Tech in 1958, and took over the operations six years later. His son David joined in 1988, after a successful career of his own in manufacturing, and is carrying the family business well into its third generation.
