Community Involvement - Scholarship Program

2009 High School Senior Information: The RRHBA is pleased to announce it is now accepting applications for its 2009 Scholarship Program, which will include the awarding of two one-time $500 scholarships to qualified area high school seniors who will be furthering his or her education in a building-related curriculum. Our Association sponsors one of the scholarships and the second is made possible through the generosity of the family of long-time RRHBA member Wayne Morris of C. W. Morris Construction, who passed away during 2004. The application deadline is Friday, April 3, 2009. To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must meet the Eligibility Requirements and complete/return a three-part application, which may be downloaded by clicking the following links:

Information pertaining to RRHBA's 2010 Scholarship Program will be posted in February 2010.

2009 VA Tech - Building Construction Program Scholarship: This 17th Annual scholarship program is also now accepting applications. This scholarship, in the amount of $500, is open to students who are currently enrolled in the Building Construction Program at Virginia Tech University. Applicants must submit his or her completed scholarship application to the faculty/staff of the Building Construction Program, who in turn will forward such application to the RRHBA Office.
