2012 RRHBA Scholarship Information

Area High School Seniors:

The Roanoke Regional Home Builders Association, Inc. (RRHBA) is pleased to announce the offering of one (one-time) $500 scholarship to a qualified area high school senior who will be furthering his or her education in a building-related curriculum.

To be considered for the scholarship, the applicant must meet the Eligibility Requirements and complete/return the application. Each applicant should complete the Applicant Information, and have a parent or guardian complete the Parent's Confidential Report.  A school official completes the Secondary School Report.  Provision of a school transcript is not required and letters of recommendation are appreciated. 

The completed application must be received by the Roanoke Regional Home Builders Association no later than Friday, April 20, 2012.

Students of the Virginia Tech - Building Construction Program

The intent and goal of the RRHBA - by offering a one-time $500.00 scholarship - is to assist promising young people who are pursing a career in the construction industry. It is the belief of RRHBA that the Construction Industry is advanced by education in the curriculums of construction, civil engineering, surveying, architecture and real estate.

To be considered for the scholarship, the applicant must meet the Eligibility Requirements and complete/return the application.

Applicants must submit his or her completed scholarship application to the faculty/staff of the Building Construction Program, who will in turn forward such application to the RRHBA Office no later than Friday, April 20, 2012.
